Article hierarchies and bills of materials enable the structured representation of composite products.

Basic Requirements for Article Hierarchies

  • Each bill of materials must be linked to individual articles (including GTINs/EANs)
  • Bills of materials should contain corresponding sub-positions in appropriate numbers with article prices
  • Prices should (if possible) be listed at the level of the individual sub-positions
