Installing the app
To connect Business Central to Procuros, you need the “simple_EDI” app. Depending on whether your Business Central instance is hosted in the cloud or on-premise, you can download the app from Microsoft App Source or contact us for the download link for on-premise installation. In the case of an on-premise installation, please provide us with your partner’s PSBC ID so that we can authorize them for the installation and ensure that the required object ids are approved.Basics app
We created a new role center called “simple_EDI”. It contains all the lists, settings and actions you need to implement the module in your BC - and also to work in your day-to-day business:

Setting up the app
First, you need to set up the API connection and transaction transfer options:

- Enter the URL and API token (provided to you by Procuros) and activate the setup with the specified API version (currently v2).

Decide at what time/action the incoming and outgoing transactions will be triggered:
- Import orders:
- Manual to receive orders only when the function is called from this setup page
- Interval-based to use a job queue that allows you to control start times and the time between runs. We recommend using this option.

Activation of the app
It is necessary to enter the GLN of your own company or the companies in your database if there is more than one company. You may have already done this on the Company Information page. If this has already happened, the Sync GLN Information function populates the simpleEDI Business Relationships table:
