Product Identification

Based on various identification data, a product can reliably be identified within the ERP system.

Identification Data

• EAN/GTIN: Barcode data. (optional but present in 99% of retail use cases)
• Buyer part number: A product ID assigned by the buyer. (optional, used only if EAN/GTIN are not provided)
• Supplier part number: A product ID assigned by the supplier. (optional, used only if EAN/GTIN are not provided)

Rules

1. Products must be uniquely identified. If multiple products within the ERP system match the provided identification data, an error must be reported to Procuros.
